OXFORD DICTIONARY OF ENGLISH is a popular  dictionary software for pc , Formerly it was called as the New Oxford Dictionary of English, which was even abbreviated to be called as the NODE. OXFORD DICTIONARY OF ENGLISH is now called as the Oxford Dictionary of English. It comes in a single volume. It is in the English language and is published by the Oxford University Press, the first publication of which was in the year 1998. Many people confuse it to the Oxford English dictionary. It has to be noted that it is entirely different from the Oxford English Dictionary, or its updated version. It is a new one and is a faithful representation of how the words have to be used properly. The second edition which was published in the year 2005 had contained 355,000 words. It also included the definitions and phrases, and references too. There was a third edition of it in the year 2010. It was the same as the second edition, but with the addition of few extra words. So far it is the largest Dictionary from the Oxford, which comes in a single volume.
