The PHP is an open source scripting language used for creating dynamic web pages. It is a general purpose server side language that synchronizes with HTML source document to interpret the programming code and hence results into a web page. The PHP package is developed and made available as a freeware on the internet by the PHP development team. It originally stood for personal home page, but now it is known as the abbreviation of Hypertext PreProcessor.
This language was written by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1995 as a set of Perl scripts. Written in language C with Common Gateway Interface by lerdorf, it was originally aimed at recording the webpage traffic and display of his resume. From that time with the advancement of information technology and computer science, it has evolved to serve the full time purpose of creating a fully fledged web age. Using this tool you can create password login pages, create forums, picture gallery, check details from a form and carry out surveys etc. The cross platform compatibility of this application lets it extend support to many different operating systems and servers.
