Autodesk Volo View Express is a very useful software program which enables you to view the files that are created with some Autodesk products developed by Autodesk, Inc. It is a free DWG viewer that is required for Advanced DWG Print and allows anyone to open, view and print AutoCAD design data. It is a separate program and does not affect the operation of the main program you are installing. With Volo View Express, you can view DWG, DXF, DWF, RML, IPT, IAM, and IDW files, along with raster images that have been inserted into DWG files.

With several Autodesk products you have the ability to Create Drawing Web Format (DWF) files, but not to view these files. The DWF file format was originally developed so users could produce small files that can be quickly accessed over the Internet and viewed in a Web Browser. A DWF file will contain a subset of the drawing information contained in the original drawing file.
